Check in for a flight

Get from "check me in for tomorrow's flight" to a boarding pass, with the right questions when there are several travellers or legs.

Example template for a hypothetical airline or trip planner app. It is not taken from any shipping app. Rename the tools to match your own App Intents titles.

# Check In for a Flight

1. Use the Find Bookings tool for flights departing in the next two days. If the user named a city or date, use it to narrow the results. If more than one flight matches, ask which one.
2. If the booking has more than one traveller, ask whether to check in everyone or only the user.
3. Use the Check In tool for the chosen flight and travellers. A trip with a connection is checked in once for all legs.
4. Use the Get Boarding Pass tool and show it.

## Don't

- Don't change seats during check-in, even if a better one is free.

Why this works

It encodes a rule only the app knows. “A trip with a connection is checked in once for all legs” is the kind of domain fact that would otherwise lead the model to call the tool twice.

It asks about other travellers. Checking in a whole family when the user meant only themselves is a real-world mistake. The skill tells the model to ask.
